Frolic and find out

Electricity was in the air on Monday.

Reader,

Electricity was in the air on Monday.

I got off a call that I facilitated. Then these messages you see above unexpectedly landed in my inbox. I didn't think that I did anything special. But as I listened to other attendees rave and feel relieved, I realised...

What we achieved in that meeting was, in fact, extraordinary.

In an hour, we very amicably resolved 4 important issues that threatened to tank the project. Everyone in this meeting is getting paid a chunk of money now, instead of in 1.5 months. AND the next steps that we all agreed on are already being implemented.

This is the magic of good facilitation! ๐Ÿช„

I've run hundreds of successful meetings, in particular for social justice initiatives. So, I wrote down three of my most valuable tips for you to run amazingly productive meetings that also undo oppression. Because they aren't mutually exclusive at all!

โ€‹
I promise that you will leave with new silent admirers who will become your loyal allies and supporters... if you try even just one of these tips in a call that you're organising this week or next.

Whether you're a beginner or a veteran facilitator, there's something in here for you. By the way, this is not meant to be a filling main course. It's more of a tried-and-tested starter tray.

Until next time,
Aayaan ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ
